Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

These are the rules for using Qutie.ai. The important parts: we are a place to book and hold a call, not a party to the advice you receive; your money is held until the call happens; and you can stop using us whenever you like.

Who you are agreeing with

Qutie.ai is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [registered address], India. Questions, complaints or data requests: support@qutie.ai.

1What this service is

Qutie.ai is a marketplace. People book time with verified professionals and speak to them on a masked video call. Both sides stay anonymous unless they both choose otherwise.

We are not a party to the consultation. We verify that a professional holds the registration they claim, we hold the booking, and we move the money. We do not supervise, review or stand behind the advice given. The professional is responsible for their own advice and their own compliance with the rules of their profession.

2Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. One account per person. Your handle is yours while your account is open; you may change it twice a year.

Do not impersonate anyone, do not claim a qualification you do not hold, and do not create an account for someone else.

3For professionals

  • You must hold the registration you claim, and it must be current. We verify it against the issuing body. Claiming one you do not hold is fraud, and we will close the account and report it.
  • You keep 80% of what the client pays for the time, before taxes. We keep 20%.
  • You are responsible for your own tax. We are not your employer and this is not employment.
  • You decide your rate, your block length and when you are available.
  • Repeatedly not turning up pauses your listing. The threshold is applied automatically.

4Paying, and what happens to the money

You pay when you book. The money is held and is not the professional’s until the call has happened. That is the whole mechanism behind the rules below.

  • Prices are shown before you confirm, including any tax. The figure you agree to is the figure you are charged.
  • During a call you may buy more time. The professional has to agree to it, and you are charged only if they do.
  • A professional may ask for payment for work beyond the call, with a reason. You choose whether to agree. That money is also held, and is released to them when they confirm the work is delivered — or returned to you if it is not delivered within 7 days.

5Cancelling, moving, and not turning up

These rules are applied by the system, the same way, every time.

  • You cancel more than 48 hours ahead: you get everything back.
  • You cancel within 48 hours: 30% is kept, for the time that was held for you. Moving the booking to another time is free instead.
  • You move it: free, once, up to 30 minutes before the start, for a block of the same length and price.
  • The professional cancels: you get everything back, whenever they do it. If it is within 24 hours of the call it also counts against them.
  • They do not join: you get everything back.
  • You do not join: after 10 minutes the booking is closed and the professional is paid for the time they held.
  • The call ends early: you are charged for the time actually spoken, and the rest comes back.
  • The connection fails: only the time spoken is charged.

Refunds go back to the way you paid, and typically take 5–7 working days to appear — that part is your bank’s timing, not ours.

6How to behave on a call

Masked does not mean unaccountable. You may not:

  • Harass, threaten or abuse the other person.
  • Record, screenshot or photograph the call. The mask exists so that neither of you can be identified, and attempting to defeat it is a breach of these terms.
  • Pressure the other person to drop their mask, or to move the conversation somewhere else.
  • Use the service for anything illegal.

Either of you can end a call at any time, for any reason, without explaining. If you feel unsafe, leave first and tell us afterwards.

Being straight about what exists today: in-app reporting and blocking are not built yet. Email support@qutie.ai and a person will read it. We would rather admit that than show you a button that goes nowhere.

7What the advice is and is not

A consultation here is a professional’s own opinion, given to you on the facts you describe, in a short call. It is not a substitute for a full engagement, for emergency care, or for representation.

If you are in danger or need urgent medical help, call your local emergency number. This service is not for emergencies and nobody here is monitoring for them.

8Suspending an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we believe is being used fraudulently, or where a professional’s registration turns out not to be valid. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Money owed to you is still owed.

9The limits of what we owe you

We work to keep the service available but we do not promise it will never be down. We are not responsible for the quality or outcome of the advice given on a call, for a professional’s acts or omissions, or for a failure caused by your own device or connection.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid us for the booking in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10Changes, and which law applies

We may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and we will tell you in the app when a change is significant. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [CITY] have exclusive jurisdiction.
